What is it that you do at The Techno Creatives?
As CTO at The Techno Creatives I get to work with an awesome group of developers and designers. My main responsibility is to provide the best possible support and working environment for our developers and grow the team through careful recruitment. But I also get to work with customer relations, active project management, and, thankfully, the occasional coding tasks.
What were you doing before you came to The Techno Creatives?
I was working as a software developer and entrepreneur in Taiwan for 6 years. After moving back to Sweden and Gothenburg I got experience in the automotive industry working as a consultant software developer and project manager. Throughout my career I´ve always had an interest and focus on digital products and services on nomadic devices. Its exiting to see the trends and technologies that has dominated the smartphone and tablet market now more into the automotive and transportation domain, and at The Techno Creatives I get to be a part of this.
Can you describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started working at The Techno Creatives?
At The Techno Creatives there is a familiar feeling, and everyone pulls their weight.
What do you find to be an important factor of a work culture?
Communication and creativity

I love cooking where I can be creative and its a great way for me to wind down after a hectic day at work.
The Techno Creatives have on several occasions had the opportunity to do concept work for the Volkswagen Group.
Yacht Defined is a result of challenging and questioning traditional boat systems of today.
We had the opportunity to create The Strongman Game for Telenor Connexion (TCXN). The main purpose was to create an installation utilizing cloud connectivity and IoT to emphasize the potential of connected products and services.
We got nominated for Bokios excellent User experience design in the UX Design Award! Our design philosophy for Bokio is to make economy administration invisible and seamless integrated in the entrepreneurs every day life.
We got the challenge to create an interactive game specially created to better communicate Volvo cars safety technology to people independent of age, gender or understanding of technology. We come up with the Play IntelliSafe Game!
How would a car feel if all traditional ways of driving were reengineered into just a simple touch-sensitive steering wheel? Along with Neonode, we created an interactive in-car experience that simulated how autonomously driven cars of the future could drive.
Heartfelt messages woven into human stories using technology and innovation was the theme at this year’s Geneva 2015 Volvo stand. We executed a friendly and informative augmented reality experience that informed Volvo guests about their bold vision for the year 2020.
Safety-first has always been a priority for Volvo, we helped them communicate this by engineering an iPad experience that was able to inform guests about various safety features within the XC90 depending on which car they were sitting next to.

We has over several years worked closely with Volvo Car Group within product design, interaction- and visual design, concept development, software development and strategy.
The Volvo Podcast application was created to mediate thoughts and ideas behind Volvo´s future vision. Visitors to the Volvo stand at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 could listen in on engaging interviews of key persons within the Volvo organization.
In a secluded area of Volvo´s exhibition stand at Geneva Auto Show 2015, the visitors could experience and learn more about Volvo´s air quality system.
Volvo Contextual Switch transform the environment to either be maximized for business or for pleasure. We made the car into an extension of your home or your office. This two rooms needed to have different properties for being able to assist you in keeping you either focused or entertained. This project was a study we did for Volvo Cars regarding "Defining the Volvo Time within autonomous cars".
The Volvo Drive-E Challenge is a game created for Volvo´s exhibition stand at the International Car Show in Frankfurt 2013. The game introduce the new series of Volvo engines, Drive-E power trains, in a playful and engaging way.
