Jacob Ahrnstein

Head of Strategy

What do you do at The Techno Creatives?

I’m heading up the strategy team, we act as a bridge between product development, design and clients' business strategies. In comparison to other Strategy firms we have a strong focus on feedback loops between the user centric product development and overarching digital strategy. In this way our clients reduce the risk of developing digital strategies and concept that is ill-fitted to become more than paper products.

What were you doing before you came to work at The Techno Creatives?

Last four years I’ve been at Accenture Strategy working across different industries with sales strategies, business model transformations, digital strategies, product market introductions, and supply chain strategies. I also enjoy working with exciting new technologies and ventures, an interest I explored during my time at Luxbright - a medtech start-up - and Konsert IP & Strategy, and more recently as an investment advisor for a family office.

What do you find to be the biggest difference in your daily experience now and before you worked at The Techno Creatives?

I would argue that the big difference is the speed and will to try on new things at The Techno Creatives. One day you will work with marketing to ensure a solid kickstarter campaign for an in-house venture, next week you’ll be in a client meeting tinkering about how augmented reality can be used within the retail sector. At Techno Creatives you also interact with a set of diverse people with different competences and background in small team settings, which I believe is quite unique in Gothenburg.

What do you find to be an important factor in your work culture?

I believe that people will grow and truly enjoy their work if they are given the right level of independence and responsibility, working within an area of interest. In this way all of the team members will be regarded as a key contributors in an inspiring, open minded and inclusive work culture.

Mention three things you like besides work

I love to explore new countries, cultures, and mountains. Currently I’m looking for my next “ikigai” within photography, arts, or horseback riding.
