When busy millennials take on the dreaded task of bookkeeping, they end up revolutionizing the banking industry by creating innovative mobile banking services. Bokio, which first emerged in 2011 under The Techno Creatives, aimed to provide a free service that would enable entrepreneurs to manage their payrolls on the go as quickly as possible. In 2015, we merged with Efira. Our success with developing a full business suit including bookkeeping, and invoicing led to our inclusion in Barclays Techstars in London, and we secured investors such as Creandum and Svea Ekonomi. In 2022, Bokio was acquired by the Visma Group, which boasts over one million customers as Europe's leading cloud-based accounting and payroll system for small businesses. Visma invested in Bokio's fintech solution for small companies in Europe, enhancing its cloud-based business system offering.
Together with the boat manufacturer HOC Yacht, The Techno Creatives identified opportunities and brought them to the surface, and the joint-venture Yacht Defined was born. Packed with intelligent guiding systems, ai-handling, and widescreen displays, Yacht Defined took the industry by storm. It resulted in the intelligent boating system later we become part of our friends at Navico. Navico Group is one of the world's largest provider of leisure marine electronic products. In 2021 Navico got acquired by Brunswick Corporation to enhance its leadership position in marine technology.
The Techno Creatives are co-founders of Golden Ridge Robotics where we designed The Rover, for the future by the future. The Techno Creatives's Industrial Designers crafted an autonomous vehicle rarely experienced by the world unless you live in China. The autonomous mobility service was created and launched within 12 months, in collaboration with Baidu, Chinese equivalent of Google and is China's largest search engine. Designed to be part of a smart mobility ecosystem, The Rover is connected by a mobile application and cloud services. This lets the user summon a Rover which will carry its guest on a scenic route.
We have launched a joint venture with Clean Motion, a manufacturer of lightweight electric vehicles for urban transportation and services, to support them with digital product development in terms of connecting their vehicles using our proprietary IoT platform Elevate - enabling customers to monitor and manage location and health of their vehicle fleet. Clean Motion's target market for their last-mile delivery vehicle EVIG, is Europe with the first deliveries in 2023 Q1. EVIG is designed and engineered to support the scalability of transportation fleets, both environmentally and financially. The vehicle is lightweight with an electric drivetrain, solar panels on the roof, and a modular cargo space to meet different types of delivery needs. Energy efficiency is the core of Clean Motion where missions per kilometer range from 0-23 g CO₂ eq/km, at 0 emissions, the electricity is 100% solar powered. At 23 g CO₂ q/km emissions, EVIG is 5 times more energy efficient than a conventional electric vehicle.
TYRI INTELLilight™ is the product in a joint venture between TYRI and The Techno Creatives. TYRI is always keen to understand clients' working environments to improve the operators' working conditions while enhancing safety aspects in high-risk industries. TYRI INTELLilight™, which is the first and only wireless Bluetooth lighting system on the market, consists of LED lights, the app, and a physical remote. The app forms the heart of the system, where installers of heavy-duty vehicles and trucks, can set up, manage, and group lights in a Bluetooth mesh. This new system of personalised lightning will open the door for safer, better work environments in high-risk industries.
It started with a dumpling machine based on robotics technology. We co-funded Dubb & Co and launched the restaurant chain Dumpling X to offer a wide range of its own low-carbon dumplings with dipping sauces and bubble tea, with the aim of offering a sustainable healthy takeaway option. Dumpling X has an ambitious expansion strategy and has begun to open its first restaurants in western Sweden.
Green City Farming had its own grow pipe solution to support scalable urban farming for cities. The Techno Creatives joined forces with Green City Farming in 2022 to connect the plants. Green City Farming is a trailblazer in the field of hydroponic farming systems, with a focus on large-scale operations that are designed to maximize yields while minimizing costs and environmental impact. Green City Farming’s flagship project is a cutting-edge hydroponic farm located in Gothenburg, Sweden, where we are deploying optimized algorithms to control the lighting and nutrition of their crops, resulting in rapid growth and low CO2 emissions.
The Techno Creatives engaged the surfing segment heads on. Combining flawless engineering with modern technology, an outstanding and sought-after product where created: The Weret Watch – a premium surf watch. Shaped out of surgical steel and packed with functions. Weret don't have a screen like other smartwatches, therefor it's almost impossible to know that our watches are packed with smart technology. The watch uses the minute and hour hands to point to specific numbers telling you the weather forecast through Bluetooth on your Smartphone. From concept to production - from word-by-mouth to eCommerce, TTC realized a unique piece in its segment.
We combined our digitalization expertise with manufacturer Westbay’s domain knowledge of trailers, and the joint venture Rentr was born. Having all trailers connected to the Internet via our proprietary and bespoke IoT platform Elevate, - this essentially turns each trailer into its own proper station. The user can easily locate, book, pay, and return the trailer 24/7 without any app download. Rentr’s first partnership with Glimra sets the base for covering large parts of southern Sweden.
